Every advisor has a seat. Every advisor has a page. Nobody has to earn those. The map is different. The map is earned. It marks the people who have met the standard we call Route 66.
The standard
- Be someone’s 1 of 6. Commit to them, to us, and to yourself — for others.
- Together, find your 6. The right 6. The ones who are a great fit.
- Help your 6 find their 6 who are a great fit, and introduce everyone to everyone else on the 9:30 calls and beyond.
That is Route 66!
Why six
You plus six. Seven is a powerful size for many reasons. Six is small enough that you know every name — and their kids’ names, and what they are afraid of. It is large enough to change the shape of a life. You are not managing a list. You are walking with six people you could call tonight.
If someone steps back
People step back. It is not a betrayal and it is not your failure. You do not chase them and you do not carry them as a number to protect. You find someone who is ready and you start again. The standard is six who are moving. Never six names on a list.
The old highway never got famous for being the fastest way west. It got famous for the people on it.
What Route 66 is not
It is a recognition standard — not a rank, not a title, and not a position of authority over anyone. Nothing is paid for reaching it and no earnings of any kind are associated with it. It is not required to join, to keep your seat, to have your page, or to be listed in the directory above. It qualifies you for one thing: your place on the map, and to be recognized as the leader you already are.
