My timeline
Who I am. How I help. Who I'm becoming.
Who I Am
I’m Maya. For the last four years I’ve made videos about slow mornings — the small rituals that help a busy family start the day feeling human instead of hurried. What began as a phone on my kitchen counter is now a community of a few thousand people who show up each week to breathe a little slower with me. I’m a mom of two, a recovering over-scheduler, and someone who believes the quiet part of life is the important part.
How I Help
I help people protect the first hour of their day. Not with another app or another rule — with permission. Permission to move slowly, to eat something real, to be with the people in the room before the world starts pulling. Lately I’ve been sharing how I keep my own energy steady through a long day of parenting and filming, because the number one question I get is simply: “Maya, how are you not exhausted?” This page is where I answer that, honestly, one month at a time.
What Is Growing in Me
I’m learning that an audience is not the same as a family. My channel gave me reach; this is teaching me depth. I want to become someone who doesn’t just make content for people, but actually walks alongside them — who remembers names, celebrates their small wins, and is still here in five years. That’s the version of me I’m building toward. Ask me again next month; I’ll tell you how it’s going.
Charting my growth
A gentle picture of how I’m becoming — my leadership, my impact, and how I feel about myself. One dot each month, connected as I live it.
Each dot is a month of becoming — connected as Maya lives them, one month at a time.
